EVENTS & MEETINGS - 2008

SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER - MERSEYSIDE TRANSPORT TRUST RUNNING DAY.  We are organising a trip to Liverpool in "Ethel", our Leyland Tiger from 1952. Click the MERSEYSIDE menu button to see details of the event. We will be leaving Dewsbury Bus Museum at 7.00 am, returning by around 8.00 pm. If you would like to come along, please CONTACT US first to make sure we have seats available. (We would appreciate a donation towards the expenses of the trip, £10.00 would be gratefully received).

SUNDAY 26th OCTOBER - HEART OF THE PENNINES RALLY at the Piece Hall in Halifax. 11.00 am until late. Free bus services start at 1.00 pm. If you would like to enter a vehicle, or require more information, the organiser, David Evans, can be contacted on 07970 663904.

SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER - AUTUMN TRANSPORT FAIR OPEN DAY, 11.00 am until 4.30 pm. See our vehicles, plenty of stalls selling memorabillia and literature. Arriva will be providing a free shuttle service from Dewsbury Bus Station at 10.45 am and every 30 minutes until 4.15 pm, returning from the Museum at 11.05 am, 11.30 am then every 30 minutes until 4.30 pm.

MEETINGS

Members' meetings take place at 7.15 pm on the third Monday of each month. Still to come this year are meetings on 15th September, 20th October (Annual General Meeting), 17th November and 15th December.
