Once again a wonderful day out on Sunday, really enjoyed riding on the Panther on it's first passenger carrying trip, and managed to get on SY81 this visit, which I have failed to do twice before!. Well done to all for organising the day and hope it was a success for you all. I was also very impressed with the new lighting within the Museum, very impressive!

    I was extremely delighted to find my copy of the new Guidebook waiting for me in an envelope on the desk instead of winging it's way down here to the Isle of Wight too. I would highly recommend it to all.

    Hope to see you again for the March Open Day.

  4. Just to drop all at Dewsbury Bus Museum at line to say thank you for a very enjoyable day at the recent running day held at Heath Common.
    I have to say that for the first outing everything went well, with a small local selection of buses on the site. The area allowed for some good photgraphic locations, help by the nice but windy weather.

  7. Hi all,

    Just got back home to the Isle of Wight after 10 days visitng in Yorkshire. I had a wonderful day at the Running Day, many congratulations to all for a superb event and some terrific buses. I had a great trip out on the Leyland Leopard, and to see the ex YWD Leyland Tiger back on home soil really made my day, Once I get the 624 photos I took on my visit up North sorted I will post on my Flickr site with a link to the ones I took in Dewsbury. Hopefully will be back up to see you all at Wakefield in May.

  10. packed with fascinating information .... especially enjoyed the video clips of bus 164 where you are given the opportunity of a virtual bus ride...also the very rare opportunity to sample a ride aboard a Guy Wulfrunian in the video of 995. look forward to the open day on March 13th 2011
