LEEDS EVENT VIDEO
On Sunday 19th July 2009 we took "Ethel" (EHL 344) to Elland Road stadium, home of Leeds United Football Club, to take part in the TRANSPORT YORKSHIRE LEEDS EVENT, organised by the TYPG. (See their website on www.typg.org.uk). We operated some journeys on the free shuttle services (53 to Leeds City Centre and X33 to the White Rose Centre). Over 70 buses were there, dozens of trade stands and hundreds of visitors. A great time was had by all at this superb event.

It was the first such event in Leeds for over a quarter of a century. Let's hope this is the start of a new tradition......

RESTORATION NEWS
West Riding 640 (BHL 682) has seen a bit of activity recently. This Leyland PD2, dating from 1948, has had the ceilings put back in place, various pieces of timber treated, repaired or replaced and the upstairs floor is ready to receive its linoleum. Thanks to Richard Hall for these photographs.
