MERSEYSIDE TRANSPORT TRUST
ANNUAL RUNNING DAY - SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER 2008
Around a dozen buses ran in service (no fares charged) on pre-deregulation routes 4, 5, 35, 46, 66B and 99. We took "Ethel" (EHL 344) along. She is pictured below at Liverpool South Parkway Interchange with a few other visitors. Recently restored Liverpool Bristol RELL 2025 (SKB 695G) and Leyland Panther 1054 (FKF 933G) both made their debuts.

RESTORATION NEWS
West Riding 640 (BHL 682) has seen a bit of activity recently. This Leyland PD2, dating from 1948, has had the ceilings put back in place, various pieces of timber treated, repaired or replaced and the upstairs floor is ready to receive its linoleum. Thanks to Richard Hall for these photographs.
