We would like to say a great big "THANK YOU" to everyone who helped to make this our most successful open day ever! Over 330 visitors bought souvenir programmes, rode on the seven buses we had in service and spent their money at the stalls inside the building.
We are especially grateful to Kirklees Young People's Action Team for lending us their car park, to Arriva who provided two buses, to Metro for allowing us into Dewsbury Bus Station, to the various stallholders and to all the vehicle owners who operated services or brought their buses along for everyone to admire.
Please look at the "News" page to see the Dewsbury Reporter's articles published both before and after the event.
Below are a few photographs of the event. If you took photographs at the event and would like to see them on this page (duly credited, of course), please e-mail them as a jpg attachment to admin@dewsburybusmuseum.co.uk

Photographs are appearing all over the Internet - a definite indication of how well people enjoyed themselves. Click the underlined titles to see the pictures on other websites.

If you were there on the day and have any photos or videos posted on the Internet, please contact us and we will gladly provide a link on this page for you.
For the first time in many years we printed a 16-page full-colour glossy programme (picture below). There are still a few copies left, if you would like to order one (they will become collectors' items in years to come!), please have your debit or credit card in front of you, click this button and follow the instructions on the PayPal screen.
